thank you! just found your video! Am trying to do this in the Fantom smaller brother FA06. Some of the menus and parameters are not the same obviously, am trying see what some number mean , like most numbers are 0 -127 in FA06. what does that mean to translate to say your ADSR 's S value of 1023? thanks! anychance you may show how to do this in FA06 as well?

This is so genius, you have an amazing ear for synthesis! I love that you ended with the Moore solo on the intro of The Killing Hand from Live at the Marquee, always been a favourite of mine. Have you by any chance ever tried to program the 2 Cory Henry leads from Lingus (Snarky Puppy)? I know they’re relatively simple (I think the first is a triangle wave, and then second sounds like a unison square maybe?) but I just can’t seem to make much headway with them. I’m more a player than a programmer.

I was thinking about doing this same setup. Are you able to connect the seaboard into the USB on the Fantom? The Fantom manual is vague about what you can connect to those USB ports.

....I've got this JD expansion set somewhere in Studio shelves ....! must slot into the JD-800 or 990 to reminisce too!! Also have Strings Ensemble (amazing), Dance Drums & ... Accordian (!🤣bizarre left-field set ). Great sounds from the very early 90's 😎🙏🎹🎶💥🍻

The patch sound is identical! And also playing style, I love him and you replicated the exact same vibrato! Wow! For me is such confusing sometime doing arpeggios and scales with the "pitch wheel fully down", and I noticed that also him do those kind of things! Still don't understand why, maybe is more comfortable? I don't know really! I would feel lost in the keys lol! Great video again.

how did you get a JD10 model for the Tone X ? there is one available? does this mean we can use the Tone X instead of a JD10 for a Jens-style lead ?

throw back my memories... if im not wrong the secret was in "wah" and "distortion" IFX and the joystick.. the trick will be difficult if your modulation control sucks... the rest just to power up the sound
